Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent, non-profit Palestinian NGO dedicated to advocating for women’s rights and gender equality through its Empowering Women, Information and Research, and Advocacy and Outreach programs. In implementing its strategy to achieve its vision, WAC is guided by international human rights principles, including empowerment and participation, equality and non-discrimination, and accountability, to ensure justice and dignity for women

WAC is seeking qualified female candidate to fill the position of Project Coordinator to support the effective implementation of humanitarian and development projects in the Gaza Strip, in line with international human rights and protection principles

Job Description
Position: Project Coordinator
:Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
Lead the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring alignment with approved objectives, timelines, and budgets-
Coordinate project planning, implementation, and follow-up in accordance with WAC and donor requirements-
Team Supervision & Support
Supervise and support project staff, including field assistants, case managers, and facilitators-
Provide guidance and technical support to ensure quality implementation of activities-
Activity Implementation & Oversight
Plan and oversee project activities, including community sessions, consultations, and training workshops-
Ensure activities are implemented in a participatory, gender-sensitive, and inclusive manner-
Monitoring, Accountability & Reporting
Monitor project progress against indicators and support the implementation of MEAL systems-
Ensure accountability to affected populations through effective feedback and response mechanisms-
Prepare narrative reports, success stories, and documentation of lessons learned-
Compliance & Coordination
Manage project risks and ensure compliance with WAC policies, protection standards, and donor regulations-
Coordinate closely with finance, procurement, and logistics teams to support smooth implementation-
Required Qualifications & Experience – Project Coordinator
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field-
At least 3 years of experience in coordinating or managing projects with NGOs or community-based initiatives, preferably with women’s rights organizations or gender-focused programs-
Strong experience in planning, budgeting, coordination, and reporting-
Solid understanding of MEAL principles-
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills-
Fluency in English (written and spoken)-
